Side of Stage – a very well know media, event and organisation company – came to me, design in hand with a theme already bought. I would ordinarily advise against prebuilt themes, but they had tried to sort the page themselves and due to time constraints they decided to outsource the project to me. When I came onto the project, I offered the opinion that it would be easier and quickest to just hit the reset button and build from the base theme rather than contending with other peoples work. SoS recognised that they weren’t best positioned to take on the website initially, so were more than happy to give me free reign.
Once the design was finalised, the development work was straightforward and without incident. The spec was for an informational page where SoS could have a presence and their contact information was easily available.
So minor design tweaks were added into the mix post-development which needed redoing, but all in all, a solid yet simple website.
